Hi Everyone! I'm super excited to have a blog here on Blogger.com. Since I was young, I have wanted to be in the fashion industry. Fashion is such a great way to express yourself. You can never be wrong with your aesthetic. My personal aesthetic is what I call "Elegance with an Edge." I've always had a "style," but until the Fashion Industry Essentials Course I had never really tapped into it and experimented with it.  After various assignments that helped with uncovering and harnessing my style, I'm on my way. 
 
This blog is going to be about my journey through the Fashion Industry Essentials Course and beyond! I hope you all like it!

Hey Guys! Welcome back! Today, I'll be talking about a newer trend - embroidery. It's been seen on runways from Alexander McQueen to Marchesa. I, on one hand, think embroidery is super chic and it can work for everyone, if they style it correctly. On the other hand, if it's not done well, it will look dated. Embroidery is the decorative stitching of yarn or thread on a piece of fabric. It's one of this season's most popular trends. For me, the embroidery has to be elegant and in flattering places to look good. I also think that embroidery is prettier on black fabric. In my opinion, embroidery on white can look like a Spanish folk dress, which could be really pretty if that's your style. The Cannes Film Festival is a huge invite-only gathering every year where they show new movies from all around the world. Hey Guys! Welcome Back! Today I'm going to highlight a few of the trends from Fashion Month Fall/Winter 2017/18! These trends are really chic and cute! They've been seen all over the runway from Miu Miu to Alexander McQueen. Trend 1 = Colored Faux Fur Alexander McQueen Outono/Inverno Leonard Miu Miu These Beauties are soft, warm, FUZZY, and easy to style!
